What Are They Up To? November 17th – 21st

Absurdity day. That phrase in itself should be enough to excite you! But add that to a week of Mickey Mouse, drum lines, tie dye, and cookie contests and we’ve got a winner. (I know you think those cookies LOOK delicious, but let me tell you, they tasted WAY better than they look!)

Even though we try our best to make every day a holiday, life at VoiceNation always seems to be an adventure all on it’s own. For the past few days, we’ve had a few ongoing games of Jenga that have either lowered our anxiety in the office… or quite possibly shot it through the roof. But either way, we’ve had fun watching each other topple those blocks all over our desks! And, one of our staff members took this opportunity to play Jenga for the very first time! Talk about a fun experience!

On a more serious note, and yes, we CAN be serious, we’ve had a great week implementing what we learned during Wednesday’s Staff Development meeting. We’re currently studying lessons from the book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen R. Covey, and man is it awesome! So far, we’ve studied the first three habits outlined in the book: Be Proactive, Begin With The End In Mind, and Put First Things First. And we’ve found the content so intriguing and insightful that we had to put together a recap article to share with our followers! Check it out here.

Plus, we announced that we’re expanding our creative team and currently looking for an energetic and outgoing Marketing Coordinator to come onboard. If you enjoy writing, public relations, volunteer opportunities, video production, and social media, then we’d love to chat with you! Our organization is all about making the world a better place for those in it and our Marketing Coordinator will play a big role in implementing our cultural initiatives. For more information, check out our Marketing Coordinator job posting.

And finally, we opened up our studio for a VisionCast audition for individuals interested in starring in our videos! Grab more info on this here at VisionCast.me.

We’re mixing up our recap a bit next week as we dive into Thanksgiving. (Yay!) Be sure to check back in to see what we have in store!

And remember, you can see more photos depicting life at VoiceNation on our Facebook page!

Have a great weekend!
